Google sign-in privacy supplement

This supplement applies to optional Google registration and sign-in on the website. The full Privacy Notice describes general account processing and your rights.

Google identity data

When you choose Google, Google provides CaseStudies.Chat with your verified email and a stable Google account identifier to create, link and recognize your account. We request only openid and email. We do not read Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts, or retain Google access or refresh tokens.

Linking and retention

New users choose an app username and password, which is hashed under the existing account rules. An existing email requires sign-in to the original account and explicit linking. Your Google identifier and verified email are kept with the account and deleted when the account is deleted. The flow uses short-lived secure, HttpOnly cookies and temporary verification state valid for up to 15 minutes. Completed sign-in uses the existing website session cookies.

Google and your choices

Your browser redirects to Google. Google processes your interaction with its sign-in service under the Google Privacy Policy. Email registration is also available. For access, correction or deletion requests, contact support@casestudies.chat.
